Library Director
The Union County Board of County Commissioners is hiring for the position of Library Director to oversee the daily operations of the library. This position is Full-Time, 40 hrs/week Monday – Friday, and requires availability to work Saturdays as needed. This position receives full-time benefits, such as health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and State Retirement benefits through FRS. The pay range for this position is $46,000 – $52,000 annually. Must have minimum of 5 years experience in the library field or related training. Must be able to work non-standard work week. Must be 18 years of age and have a minimum of a 2-year degree, bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Union County Solid Waste is hiring On Call Collection Site Attendants to maintain the service of collection sites for all Union County residents throughout the week. This position is On Call (casual work as needed) with no benefits. Pay rate starts at $12.00/hour. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
