This position is full-time with benefits, including State Retirement through FRS, health insurance, paid holidays, and PTO. Regular working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00AM -3:00PM. May work additional hours or days due to emergencies or natural disasters. Pay rate starts at $16.00/hour. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Road Department Superintendent 

The Union County Board of County Commissioners is hiring for the Road Department Superintendent position to facilitate the daily operations and projects of the Road Department. This position is full-time, 40 hrs/week Monday – Friday, and requires availability 24/7 during any storms, disasters, or emergency. This position receives full benefits, including State Retirement through FRS, health insurance, paid holidays, and PTO. The pay range for this position is $50,000 – $62,000 annually. Must have a valid Florida Class B CDL License, Class A preferred. Must have High School Diploma or GED. Must have 5-10 years’ experience in road construction or combination of training and experience which provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
